While the table could be assembled with just the Allen wrench that was supplied, it took a great deal of sustained effort. A handyman pointed out to me that lag bolts, which he substituted in some cases for hex screws you supplied, would have made the assembly much easier. A different kind of wrench, however, which he had, was required. The package of srews that came with the table had one too few medium-size screws and one too many large-size screws.
